Weeding

Even in the best kept Gardens Weeds will appear.  Many can be removed by hand, but some plants will regrow from even the smallest part left behind, for these systemic Herbicides are available.

• General Weeds: Roundup (very strong), Weedol.
• Lawn Weeds: Scotts Lawn Builder with Weed Control (apply March to September), Verdone.
• Moss in Lawns: Scotts Lawn Builder with Moss Control (apply Spring and Autumn), J.Arthur Bower's Lawn Sand (also helps improve the soil).
• Pathway Weeds: Pathclear includes Patios and gravel Driveways.
• Shruby Weeds: SBK Brushwood Killer includes Brambles, Thistles, Tree Stumps.
• Weed Supression: Phormisol is a material which is laid upon fallow ground, it allows moisture and air to pass through, but prevents the majority of seeds from settling from above whilst inhibiting the growth of those already present in the soil.
