Gloves
It is worth taking time to select the most suitable Gloves for the job in hand, there is often a balance between protection and tactility.
Here are some examples of Gloves:
- Chainsaw ~ (Stihl's Standard range gives protection in the back of both gloves, NB. no glove can guarantee full protection against Injury).
- Leather "Rigger" ~ for rough work without the need for sensitivity.
- PVC Gloves ~ useful for general work whilst offering a fair degree of waterproofing.
- Nitrile Coated ~ are less hardy, but allow for better sensitivity.
- "Marigold" Nitrile Gloves ~ offer greater sensitivity and protection against some chemicals.
- "Finex" Disposable Gloves ~ offer a high degree of sensitivity, but are no good for rough work.
- Puncture Resistant ~ offer greater protection against e.g. glass shards and syringe needles.
